Having released their wildly imaginative debut album Yarn the Hours Away earlier this year, Foyer Red are back with two tracks “Tallest Dogwood” and “Barkin’ up a Knot.” The former is a YTHA outtake that exhibits their left-field pop sensibilities and overall charm as songwriter Elana Riordan sings of her childhood home and the lasting memories there. “Barkin’ up a Knot” was inspired by the story of Greek goddess Persephone and features banjo, brush drumming with mesmerizing layered vocals.
