Ducks Ltd. are back with the second installment of their new cover series called The Sincerest Form Of Flattery — and this time they’ve chosen post-punk legends The Cure’s “In Between Days.” The track begins with a bass line and guitar riff that closely resembles the original, but shows off the Ducks Ltd. signature upbeat, bright guitar tones and punchy vocals from lead vocalist Tom McGreevy, with supporting vocals from Toronto band Jane Inc. The entire song displays the band’s appreciation and mastery of 80s alternative rock, staying true to the era’s nostalgic undertones and jangly instrumentation. Along with their last cover of “Head On” by Jesus And Mary Chain, which featured guest vocals from Illuminati Hotties, Ducks Ltd. continue their streak of covers of their heroes that inspire their own work and we can't wait to see what's next.
