Out now is Fat Tony's final remix of "Ain't For Me", this time by the legendary Twin Shadow — and topping off a whole EP of "Ain't For Me" interpretations.
The track takes the synthy original and manages to add even more, upbeat bass giving it a darker, more urgent feel. This effect allows the song to lean extra into the poignant theme of the track’s original story — about a Black American family who leaves home to another country for a better life. Although laden with heavier production, the song still holds onto Fat Tony’s signature bounce and and even adds new vocal effects giving the song a powerful edge and rawness.
